FAQs

How much does an E2 charger cost?

Our E2 starts from $1,495 with either a Type 1 or 2 plug and a 5 meter cable (a longer cable may increase this cost). For a fully installed E2 prices start from $2,495, which includes expert installation, testing, and set-up by an Evnex–certified electrician.

And, for a limited time, we're offering $200 off the E2 charger, and $300 off installation, meaning you could get a fully-installed E2 starting from $1,995.

Installation costs depends on factors such as distance from your switchboard, complexity of your installation, location of parking, etc. Before any fully-installed purchase, we'll assess your installation and provide you a personalised quote for your home. Get a quote here!

Will my EV be compatible with the E2?

All of our chargers — the E2 included — are compatible with all electric vehicle makes and models (bar a very small number of older models). The E2 also comes with options for both Type 1 & 2 plugs.

How fast will the E2 charge my EV?

Our E2 charger provides 7.4kW single-phase power, charging your EV up to four times faster than a standard 3-pin plug — and takes most EVs from 20%-100% battery in an average of 6-8 hours.

The exact speed of your charge of your EV however depends on several factors, such as the model of your vehicle, its battery size, and any built-in charging limitations of your vehicle.

For exact figures, please get in contact with our team who will be happy to help!
