Current transformers
CT is required if you need solar diversion, overload protection, and dynamic local load balancing. Please ensure you choose the correct CT value for your installation. The current rating of the CT should always be larger than the circuit breaker located on the same current path.
Description
CT is used to determine energy for either load-to-grid or grid-to-load transitions; a CT (Current Transformer) is essential. The CT rating indicates its highest operational current capacity.
Connection with Evnex Charger
- For X-Series Chargers:
- CTs are essential when paired with a Power Sensor and an X-series charger. Please purchase the Power Sensor separately.
- CTs are not included and must be ordered separately. Ensure you select the CT rating that matches your installation needs.
- For E2 Chargers: The package includes a standard CT with a 100A rating. No additional CT purchase is necessary for the E2 charger.
What's included?
- CT clamps come with paired screw terminals.
Please Note:
- Recommend using shielded paired cables (e.g. LAP-2170240)for extended cable runs (Maximum length 100m).
Important Reminder:
- Always ensure the CT rating surpasses the current rating of the circuit breaker on the same current path for both safety and performance.
