Evnex Limited (we, us or our) provides electric vehicle charging solutions in New Zealand and Australia.
In operating our business we collect, store, process, use and disclose personal information belonging to a range of people including our customers and suppliers. We are committed to protecting your personal information. When we refer to personal information, we mean information about an identifiable individual as defined in the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (Personal Information).

your installation connection point number (if you are a customer in New Zealand) or your national metering identifier (if you are a customer in Australia), together with your electricity retailer and tariff type;

details relating to your charger installation and equipment including charger location and serial number;
charger usage, performance, and electricity metering data including charger plug-in and unplug times, charging schedule, Charge Now activation, charge session start/stop time, energy delivered (kWh) during a charge session and periodic readings of current, voltage and frequency supplied;
any other personal information you otherwise provide to us.
The Personal Information we collect may be collected in a number of ways including but not limited to:
when you browse our Website, order our Products, sign up for and use our Services or download and use our App;
when you email us, send us messages via our Website, or phone us; and
when our Product is installed at your property, at the time of installation and at any other time we are required to visit your property or otherwise support our Product and/or deliver our Services.
We use cookies, web beacons, or device identifiers (which may include unique IDs, platform type and version (e.g., iOS or Android), hardware and processor information to identify your device and/or your Product so we can:
track usage patterns for our Website, Products and App;
customise your preferred use of the Website, Products and App; and

In some instances, we may charge those third party grid partners a fee for providing them with Personal Information and/or Anonymised Aggregated Data, to help us continue offering our business to you;
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request, and
as otherwise expressly permitted under this Privacy Policy.
Transferring Personal Information Outside New Zealand
We will primarily collect and process Personal Information in New Zealand and Australia.
The Personal Information that we collect is stored on our servers. The servers are physically located in Sydney, Australia.
However, we may transfer your Personal Information to third parties outside New Zealand or Australia for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. If at any time we need to send Personal Information outside of New Zealand or Australia to an overseas agency that may use the information for its own purposes, we will:

We take website and credit card security seriously and always endeavour to provide a secure platform on which to make online payments. Our Website is secured by [e.g. SSL certificates, encryption methods]. We use a leading online payment provider and your credit card data is not stored by us.
