Standard 3-pin plug
Charging times for a fully electric or plug-in hybrid Volvo car can vary depending on various factors such as outdoor temperatures, the charging method used and the size of the car’s battery.
Evnex E2 charger
Evnex X22 charger
The X22 is limited by the lower AC charge rate of this model and is unable to charge at its full 22kW rate.

FAQs
Yes, our chargers are compatible with all Volvo vehicles in New Zealand, supporting Volvo's charging standards for efficient home charging.
All current Volvo models in New Zealand have a Type-2 connection only.
Charging times vary based on your home’s power capacity, Volvo model, and charger model.
However all Volvo models currently in New Zealand have a very similar charge time of roughly around 8-9 hours for our 7.4kW chargers, and 5-6 hours for our X22 22kW charger—when charging at the vehicles maximum charge rate.
Please note, our X22 is limited to 11kW by the Volvo's internal charge rate.
