FAQs
Yes, our chargers are compatible with all Ford vehicles in New Zealand, supporting Ford's charging standards for efficient home charging.
The only two Ford models in New Zealand, the Ford Mach-E and E-Transit, have a Type-2 connection.
Charging times vary based on your home’s power capacity, Ford model, and charger model.
Currently the only Ford electric car in New Zealand is the Ford Mach-E, which will take around 9 hours from 20%-100% with our 7.4kW E2 charger, or 6 hours with our 22kW X22 (which is limited to 11kW by the Ford Mach-E's internal charge rate).
For the Ford E-Transit — Ford's all-electric transit van — the charge rate from 20-100% is very similar, but has a much lower range at around ~220km.
